Went out last night and had a most excellent time with Mr. and Mrs. Webbstarr, Clark and Cable. We went to Bricktown and ended up at the Brewery. Played some pool got charged for a lot less than we drank and got a good buzz goin'. Then we headed back to Webb's place in Yukon. We started to play Fuck the Dealer, then moved on to my new favorite drinking game, Okie Drunk 'Em.
You play Texas Hold 'Em poker, but bet drinks. If you fold you drink what your last bet was. Whoever wins the hand gets to hand the drinks out. If a person folded they can only drink as many as their last bet. Max bet per round is a full beer (12 drinks), so four beers (48 drinks) max for a hand of poker. You have one hand of poker to make up some of your drinks, example:
You just played a hand and were given 20 drinks, but the next hand you win 30 to give out, then you can use however many of those thirty to cancel out that many of the drinks you owe (you could take ten and use ten). But it has to be the next hand of poker for you to be able to hand out the drinks. After 4-5 players have dealt a hand makes a good catch-up / smoke break. It gets hard to keep up with the amount of drinks people owe after a few deals around the table, but that is kind of the point of the game. Also, if the cat bites you then you have been chosen, Nugent's Cat Scratch Fever should be played immediately and crazy lights should turn on as everyone sings the song at the top of their lungs.
I had some messed up vivid dreams, like Cable having shaved off my eyebrows after I passed out, I look really weird with no eybrows in my dreams.
You should listen to some Of Montreal, Bishop Allen (i will remind you of this forever), Ida, Decibully, Arcade Fire (if you have been slacking) and The Decemberists. All of these groups' music enrich my soul on almost a daily basis.
